Does the supplier test - or just claim? In-house laboratories with torque machines, hardness testers, salt spray chambers and optical sorters demonstrate a real commitment to quality.

4. Materials and sourcing

Verified raw material certificates matter for strength, corrosion resistance and consistency. Ask which steel mills they buy from and whether material certificates ship with orders.

5. Stock and lead time

For standard items, stocked inventory means same-day dispatch. For custom parts, evaluate sampling speed - a factory with in-house mold making will beat one that outsources tooling.

6. R&D support

A good supplier improves your design. R&D teams with deep industry experience provide DFM feedback that reduces cost and improves assembly performance.

7. Communication and after-sales
