Screw Packaging Process for Bolts and ISO Standard Screws Before Shipment
Automated Screw Packaging Process for Consistent Shipment Quality
This short video shows one of our automated screw packaging lines in action. The machine ensures each batch of hex screws and bolts is counted, packed, and sealed with precision. Our packaging process follows ISO and export standards, helping to prevent shipment damage and ensuring fasteners arrive in perfect condition. From Grade 8.8 hex bolts to custom combination screws, every item is carefully packed according to its size, coating, and customer specification. This automated system improves efficiency and consistency, reducing human error while increasing delivery accuracy. Watch how we bring precision to the final step before shipment.
Why Packaging Matters in Screw Manufacturing
Customers around the world rely on not just the quality of the screws themselves, but also the condition they arrive in. Improper packaging can lead to surface damage, rust, or quantity errors, especially during international shipping. To avoid this, our factory implements a standardized packaging system designed to protect products and streamline shipping logistics.
Automated Screw Packaging: A Real Production Snapshot
As shown in our video, the machine we use automates several steps:
Counting: Ensures each bag or box contains the exact number of screws as per the order.
Sorting: Separates different screw types and sizes before packaging.
Sealing and labeling: Packages are sealed airtight to avoid moisture exposure, then labeled with part numbers, batch codes, and standard marks (e.g., ISO, DIN, or GB).
This level of automation reduces manual error and ensures repeatable accuracy, which is especially important when shipping bulk orders across continents.
Standards We Follow
All screws and bolts packed in our facility conform to:
ISO 898-1 mechanical property standards
DIN 933 dimensions and thread tolerances
Custom requirements from OEM clients
We also follow specific export packaging standards, including moisture-proof lining, weight-limited cartons (usually under 25kg), and palletized shipping to prevent transport-related damage.
Suitable for a Wide Range of Products
We use this packaging line for:
Hex head cap screws
Grade 8.8 bolts
Combination screws with washers
Zinc-plated and black oxide coated fasteners
Stainless steel bolts (A2-70, A4-80, etc.)
Each type is grouped and packed based on quantity, finish, and customer country standards (e.g., ANSI/ASME for North America, JIS for Japan).
The Final Step Before Shipping
After packaging, all boxes are inspected once more before being loaded onto pallets. This last layer of inspection verifies:
Correct quantity per unit
Correct labeling (with PO number or barcode if needed)
No mixing of part types
Only then do we clear the shipment for export.
